The oil Spill is is affecting the animals because they are losing their homes(also known as habitats) and they are also losing their family members. As you can see on the picture above you can see that the oil spill is on the baby otter. The ship on the back of this picture explains the people who are researching on this oil. This oil is not good for the animals because they are starting to get extinict and losing their foods that they might eat. The animals that are losing their homes are mostly the fish and the birds. Also other animals that are living under the sea are too. This oil spill has mostly hit the Gulf of Mexico and is moving their way to more of the other oceans.Think about how the animals might feel? They feel neglected and very sad on how they lose their home, with no where to go. Animals might just be animals but they are still alive and still deserve the same thing as humans.
